This blend combines two peptides that act on the growth hormone axis through complementary mechanisms, which is the reason they are frequently studied together. CJC-1295 is a synthetic analog of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). Its structure has been modified to resist enzymatic breakdown, allowing it to remain active longer than native GHRH and to sustain a signal that prompts the pituitary gland to release growth hormone.

Ipamorelin works by a separate route.
